The Firefox Extension

Track your debt snowball without ever opening the full app. The Snow Debt Crusher browser extension lives in your Firefox toolbar — one click shows your accounts, your payoff order, and a quick way to log a payment, all New York style.

What it does

The extension is a lightweight companion to the web app. It puts your most important numbers one click away and nudges you to keep the momentum going:

• A debt badge on the toolbar icon — shows your total debt at a glance (e.g. 12K), color-coded by your debt-to-income health so you know how you're doing without opening anything.
• Overview tab — every account with its current balance and paid-off status.
• Snowball tab — your payoff order with the current FOCUS debt highlighted, so you always know which one to attack next.
• Pay tab — record a payment in seconds, with quick-fill buttons so you don't have to type.
• Monthly reminder — a notification on the 1st of each month telling you to update your balances and record a snapshot.
• NY-style motivation — the same coach you know from the app: hyped when debt drops, a celebration when you pay one off, and a wake-up call when it climbs.

Installing it in Firefox

Install it straight from the official Firefox Add-ons store — no files to download or set up:

1. Open the listing. Go to the Snow DebtCrusher add-on page on Firefox Add-ons.
2. Click "Add to Firefox." Firefox shows the permissions it needs (see below) — review and confirm.
3. Pin it to your toolbar. Click the puzzle-piece Extensions icon, find Snow DebtCrusher, and click the pin so the icon (and your debt badge) stays visible.
4. Connect your account. Click the icon to open the popup, then hit Open Full App to link it to your free snowdebtcrusher.com account. Your debts sync into the popup automatically.
5. You're set. Click the icon anytime to see your Overview, Snowball, and Pay tabs.

Overview

Your home base. See each account, what's still owed, and which ones are already crushed — without leaving the page you're on.

Snowball

The payoff plan in miniature. Debts are ordered smallest balance first, and the one marked FOCUS is the one to throw every spare dollar at this month. When it's gone, the next one takes its place automatically.

Pay

The fastest way to stay current. Pick the account, use a quick-fill button (or type an amount), and log the payment. Your balance, badge, and snowball order all update on the spot — and if you just wiped out an account, expect a celebration.

The extension asks only for what it needs to do its job:
