Settings
Settings is where you tune the plan to your real life โ your income, how much extra you can pay, and when you want to be free. It's also home to the monthly snapshot that powers your charts.
Income & payment goals
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Monthly Take-Home Income | What you actually bring home each month. Drives the income-vs-debt health panel and your payoff projection. |
| Extra Monthly Payment | The amount above your minimums you can throw at debt. This is the engine of the snowball โ every dollar here speeds up your payoff. |
| Target Payoff Date | Your debt-free goal date. The app calculates the extra payment needed to hit it. (Grinder plan and up.) |
Enter your numbers and click Save Settings โ you'll see a โ Saved! confirmation.
๐ธ Record a Monthly Snapshot
This is the most important button in the app. At the end of each month โ after you've updated your balances in My Debts โ click Record Monthly Snapshot. It saves that month's totals as a single data point on your Dashboard's "Debt Over Time" chart.
One snapshot a month is what turns the Dashboard from a single number into a story of your progress. Miss a month and you miss a point on the chart โ so make it a routine (e.g., the 1st of every month).
Language
Snow Debt Crusher speaks English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Pick your language under App Language and the whole interface switches instantly.
Sign out
Use Sign Out to log out of your account on this device. Your data stays safely in the cloud and is waiting when you sign back in.
โ ๏ธ Reset All Data
This wipes your local data and starts you fresh. Use it only if you want to begin again from scratch.
Resetting clears your entered data. You'll get a confirmation prompt first ("Yes, Reset Everything"). If you just want to step away, use Sign Out instead โ that keeps everything.
Set that extra payment as high as you honestly can, lock in a target date, and snapshot every single month. That's the whole routine. Now go run it.
